House of Hope Orphanage...
Could there possibly have been a better way to begin the New Year in 2006 than by establishing 'House of Hope' for Miskito Indian orphan children??? We don't think so! So here they come... the first of many precious homeless, orphan children in one of the remotest areas of Nicaragua. These children who live in the rain forest region of Nicaragua are counted among the poorest of the poor.
New Hope's 'House of Hope' is possibly the first real home these children have ever had. For all of their little lives they have not known who they could trust or what their future would hold. Where they had no parents... now they have 'house' parents to care for them. Where they had no one to love them... now they have a loving family. Where there was no one to feed them... now they have all they can eat on the table. Where they once had no bed... now they have a clean bed to sleep in. Where once they were unable to attend school... now they are receiving an education. Where once they had no shoes... now they have their very first pair of shoes. 'House of Hope' has truly brought their first real hope... as well as a sparkle in the eyes of the children who now call 'House of Hope' home.
Presently since the house New Hope is renting is so small, we are only able to accommodate twelve children. The vision of New Hope is to someday be able to purchase some nearby land and build a much larger home so we will be able to care for many more of these unwanted children. The NEED IS SO GREAT!!! It is estimated that there are between 500 and 800 orphans living in this remote area who need a home. We can not, we will not... close our hearts to these little ones who so desperately need our help! It is our prayer that God will use New Hope ChildrenŐs Foundation to encourage and bless these precious little ones and to inspire them to give their lives to Jesus Christ. To accomplish this monumental task, additional sponsors are needed! We have children in our home who need someone to help provide care for them. Please pray that God will touch someone's heart so the financial needs for that child will be met.
