House of Hope Orphanage currently has five children, but we are planning to expand the home to make room for more children. All of the children currently living in House of Hope are from the Atlantic Coast of Nicaragua (Rio Coco area) and are Miskito Indians. When they first came to House of Hope they only spoke Miskito. However, now they have learned Spanish and are eager to learn English as well. Leo and Charity Marroquin are currently directing House of Hope and live with the children in El Crucero.
