October 2008

THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!

ALWAYS 100%

It is true! ONE-HUNDRED PERCENT (that means ALL) of your gifts and money given to New Hope Children’s Foundation... no matter the amount... will be used to help New Hope minister to the physical and spiritual needs of the children in Nicaragua. It’s a promise!

Each month, New Hope Children’s Foundation is faced with numerous financial needs. As usual, “the needs” of the children we are endeavoring to minister to are “far greater” than New Hope’s resources. But again, we are proclaiming that “all of
New Hope’s needs are met according to His
riches in glory”!!!

To those of you the Lord directs to be a part of New Hope’s outreach to the children in Nicaragua during October, we want to THANK YOU in advance for your prayers and gifts... FOR THE CHILDREN!

THE FOOD HAS BEEN SHIPPED!

We praise the Lord that on Saturday, September 13th, 265,000 meals left for Nicaragua.

Children are waiting on these meals!

Thanks so much for agreeing with us in prayer for its “safe arrival” in Nicaragua.

THE MINISTRY OF NEW HOPE IS MAKING SUCH A DIFFERENCE

In this edition of News Break, we are introducing five of the finest young people who attend New Hope’s school. We are grateful for the opportunity the Lord has given us to share Christ’s love, and one of the best educations available in Nicaragua, with so many children.

This year we are seeing more of “the fruit” of our labors. What a blessing! It’s amazing to watch as these young people step-up to the challenge of making their lives count for Christ. We are believing that in the years ahead, God will use these young people greatly to make a difference for Him in their country. Truly, this is the beginning of great and mighty things! These are only five of the many lives that your prayers and gifts have helped change. And as we stand together, we are believing, the best is yet to come for... THE
SAVING OF A GENERATION!

IN HONOR OF OUR GRADUATING LION'S CLUB MEMBERS

Hi, I’m Astrid Maria Bustamante, I am sixteen years old and in the eleventh grade. There are nine members in my family. I am blessed to live in a family that has good values. My parents teach us to give thanks to God for the little things as well as the big and especially to give thanks for life.

I started studying at MTC in 2007. I was in the 10th grade. This is my second year here. I am very happy because I chose this excellent school. More importantly, God is above everything here. I chose to study here because this is a school that offers us a unique education. It is a school of excellence. We are blessed with good leaders who don’t just impose themselves on us or just give us orders. The staff of our school gives us opportunities. And, most importantly, we know they love us.

I would like to study medicine and to continue serving here at the school as a volunteer after I graduate. I also want to keep working in the Lion’s Club. I have a good relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. I talk to Him as my best friend. I am not the kind of person who trusts easily. But with Him, there is not a problem because His love is without condition and His love is not limited. I know that He is with me and wants the best for me. Because of this, I will defend His Word and if I have the opportunity with my future career, I would like to help a lot of people here by sharing Christ and His Word with them. Before I came to MTC I had been trying to serve Christ. But after some of the staff here shared Christ with me and started discipling me, I gave myself completely to the Lord. I am believing my life will be like that from now on.

Here at MTC, I am able to complete my studies in high school free. By providing a free education to us here, we are being helped in a wonderful way.
Because of MTC, we are going to be able to go to the University and reach out for our dreams. MTC has affected my life the most in a Spiritual way. Here I have learned to change my way of living and love Christ with all of my heart and to serve and worship Him.

I really like the staff here and the Lion’s Club. The Lion’s Club meetings are special because in the meetings we have a time to communicate with God. It’s great being there with God, separate from worldly things. Everything that is done here at MTC is different than other schools. They really go out of their way in order to help us students. They care about our grades, how we are doing in class, and they try to help us to get better grades. If for some reason we miss classes, they ask, “What happened?” It is the same if we get sick or if we have problems. In other schools here in Nicaragua, all they care about is getting money from the students. Here our education is completely free and that is a proof that we are blessed by our Heavenly Father.

Hi, my name is Merling Raquel Flores García. I am in the eleventh grade. I am thankful that I have a wonderful family. This is my first year to attend MTC. I am thankful that God brought me to MTC. I don’t believe I choose MTC, God chose MTC for me. I am happy to be at student here because this is a good Christian school and I like it very much.

MTC has helped me to be more responsible and to trust God and ask more from Him. MTC has helped me a lot because we have an excellent administration and teachers. I feel happy because there are excellent rules. I like the spiritual aspects of MTC and the way things are taught and the teaching.

MTC does it best to help us students to reach our goals. Here at MTC the staff and teachers make us think and feel that we can reach any goal that we set for ourselves. I am planning to go to college and get a degree, so I can help support my family. What I really like is that MTC it is a Christian School.

Hi, I’m Freddy Gutierrez. I am nineteen years old and in the eleventh grade. I have been attending MTC for three years. After I graduate, I plan on studying accounting. I want to work in the future to give back to my parents because they have done so much for me. There are six in my family. I am thankful to God that our family is together. All of us are surrendered to the Lord and together we worship Him.

MTC is a very efficient school. The difference between MTC and other schools here is that in all the classes at MTC, we are taught in a better way than other schools. Besides helping me in the natural, MTC has helped me in growing spiritually. Most important to me is that we have Bible teaching here at MTC. In other schools they don’t teach the Word of God. The staff of our school and our teachers also lead us in the ways of God. Because this is a Christian school, and because my parents taught me to serve God, we knew that if we studied at MTC, we will keep going in the right way.

Everything here at MTC is good, but the Lion’s Club is the best. I really surrendered my life to Christ five years ago. Now I have a good relationship with Jesus. I know that without Him I am nothing. With Him, my every need will be met. If He is with me, who can be against me?

Hi, I’m Nora del Socorro Ortiz. I am seventeen years old and in the eleventh grade. This is my second year attending MTC. I have two sisters and five brothers. I choose to come to MTC because here we receive opportunities that we don’t have at other schools. MTC also helps us prepare better for our future than other schools here.

After I graduate I want to keep studying and working in order to help my family.
MTC has affected my life the most from the Christian education we receive here.

I am a very reserved person, I like to read and also like to share with my friends. I really like to learn about the Bible and God’s love. Ever since I started attending MTC, I have had wonderful experiences that have helped me a lot in my life and my relationship with Jesus.

Because this is a Christian school, the staff here shares many things that help us to have a better relationship with God so we can be closer to Him every day. Studying at MTC has drawn me much closer to God.

MTC has helped me to become a better person. Since attending here I now have more values and principles than I use to have. I also have become a leader since coming to MTC. I have learned how to have God help me to make the right decisions for my life.

I like all the different activities MTC and all the good times we share here together. But what I like the most about attending school here is that it is free and the fact that we can have an open relationship with Christ. It is good that we are also taught how to be successful in life.

Hi, my name is Aura Loaisiga. I am twenty-one years old and in the eleventh grade. I have been attending MTC for three years. I surrendered my life to God when I was a child. I’m blessed to have a Christian family. We all go to church. My sister is the pastor.

The school I attended before MTC, told us that they would not allow any student to attend there who is a Christian. MTC is different. I am thankful that MTC opened its doors to me. I am receiving a good education here.

Another great thing about MTC that is different than other schools, is that you do not hear students or teachers using bad language or disrespecting the schedule. I like the strictness of MTC. Here we have to follow the rules.

MTC really helps us a lot. Each day they teach us how we can realize our dreams. I plan on going to the university and study science so I can become a science teacher. I know God is helping me in my studies. All I have to do is depend on Him.
