As New Hope "launches" the $1,000,000/1,000,000 Child Miracle in Nicaragua we are realizing that  "time is of the essence." We never just "miss an opportunity" in life... we often "lose an opportunity," that is never again realized. Recognizing this... as well as the "urgency" to "walk through the doors" at the time they are open to us... New Hope is "immediately" implementing the following:

1) contacting the Ministry of Education's office the first of next week to share that New Hope is ready to begin "Bridge of Hope" in Nicaragua.

2) securing the contractor(s) to prepare to begin building the first schools the middle of July.

3) not "waiting" on "commitments" for the $1,000,000 before beginning to build the first of the 30 schools.

We must move forward with "this vision" as we have other visions the Lord has given us in the past. We have begun most of our projects at New Hope with little (or even almost no money) and... God has been faithful... to move... as we "moved forward" in faith. It's... "moving time again." The truth is... when God directs... He WILL PROVIDE! And, "money always follows ministry."  

We are so thankful an adult Sunday school class at a Baptist church in Trussville, Alabama has "caught the vision" to sponsor the first school. What a blessing! It's amazing that only a "handful" of people (probably less than 12), are going to make such a difference in the lives of so many children in Nicaragua!

Please pray... that those God is speaking to about sponsoring the second school will be obedient to His voice.  

On Sunday I have been invited to meet with two more Southern Baptist churches. This is very unusual... That's three churches in the same denomination I will be with in just a four days. God is at work!

 Let's "keep the faith" as we continue to step out to "attempt great things FOR God" in Nicaragua... fully "expecting" "great things FROM God."

By the way, we have also been informed that another 150,000 meals will follow as soon as we need them. PTL!!! God is so faithful! 

Our second daughter, Faith graduated from Bible school on May 11th. We are very proud of her achievements. She made a 100 on almost every test she took this year, plus worked for the Lord in several student ministries. But most of all, we are thankful for her love for God and her desire to help make a difference in the lives of precious children in Nicaragua. 

On June 3rd, she will be leaving for Nicaragua to teach English at New Hope's school and work in the ministry there for the next five months. During this time, she also plans to go to Waspam to work with the Miskito Indian children who are living in "House of Hope" orphanage. 

While Faith is in Nicaragua, she will need to take care of her own personal needs, as well as food and travel. We are praying that God will supply her with at least $300 per month to take care of these needs. As you are well aware, New Hope donations go to the children’s needs. Those who come to work with New Hope must raise their own support.

Please stand with us in prayer that God will supply Faith’s needs while she is working with the children... for the Lord.  We believe she is going to be a wonderful asset to New Hope in Nicaragua, especially since she is proficient in Spanish as well as in English. We are so thankful that Faith is dedicating herself to the Lord’s work.

GO FOR "IT" FAITH... 

 How fast "the kids" grow up... our son Joshua also finished his first year at Bible school this year. Needless to say, we are very proud of him as well... and of Charity who is working for the Lord in Nicaragua. What a blessing the Lord has been to our family. Needless to say, we don't deserve or merit it. But, we are very "thankful" that we can work for the Lord together. It doesn't get any better than that. This has been Rose and my "heartbeat" for almost 30 years... Now to see "the kids" "picking up the torch"... makes it ALL so worth while. 

I have always told our children that I would be so proud of them... IF they served the Lord. If they became "successful" in this world's eyes and worked in the "supposed" "better occupations"of this life.. and "left God out of their lives"... to me, (as well as to God), they would have lived very "unsuccessful lives." On the other hand, if all they were able to do was work at McDonalds and have a "strong testimony" for Jesus Christ... I would be very proud of each of them.

While Joshua was yet very young, he produced several of New Hope's DVDs. Well, on graduation night... Joshua was in the control room directing the camera team for the graduation ceremony. No doubt, unprecedented for a 17 year old! All of you who know Joshua, are aware that he is... pretty amazing! He is now making $15 an hour working as an RV technician repairing million dollar motor homes after he gets out of school each afternoon. It's very evident that God has blessed Joshua for his "diligence" and "faithfulness"...  for giving so much of himself in working so hard by my side in ministry for most of his life. I sure miss him being with me now. The "Good News" is... the Lord willing, he will be with us in Nicaragua for the month of July producing another DVD for New Hope.
