MTC INTERNATIONAL TECHNICAL INSTITUTE
 Amazing things are continuing to happen at New Hope in El Crucero!!! After waiting patiently until the last hour, just in the “nick of time,” a ministry stepped forward and paid-in-full the $40,000 needed for our children’s home in El Crucero. What a blessing this was! We give God all the praise and glory for what He has done! But God isn’t finished yet. Right behind that miracle... another miracle is in the making!
This time the spotlight is on More Than Conqueror’s International Technical Institute. I wish I could tell you all this institute means to the success of our ministry here in Nicaragua. However, since I am not at liberty to do so... I hope you understand that something... VERY GREAT “IS” and “WILL BE’ happening through this new ministry outreach!
Even though we had no money to begin the building, I began preparing the property. Over 60 teachers, principals and educational professionals are already enrolled in the program. The mayor of El Crucero wants us to train his entire workforce (around 50). Then there is the El Crucero hospital personnel and police department, etc. We believe this is only the beginning of something far greater than we can ever imagine! All of these are “extra bonuses.” Our primary reason for beginning the institute is to help our high school graduates who are unable to attend a university. But “the vision” quickly expanded!
Once again... we have heard the call! It is time TO RISE AND BUILD! No, in “our flesh,” we do not want to build. We do not want “another project.” It would be great to “rest” for a season from our labors. But this is not the time to rest! It is the time to “push the battle to the gates”! What God is doing here through the ministry of New Hope is TURBO CHARGED! There can be no “time-outs”! We are in the “thick of the battle,” and we must not “give the enemy any quarter”! The souls of thousands of children here in Nicaragua are at stake! Knowing all this... we started clearing the ground where the new building will soon stand. We have done this a number of times over the years. We almost never wait until we have all we need. There are times we start with nothing (as we did this time). All we need is “HIS” Word... to build. That’s enough! We know that when God directs... He will perform!
There is an URGENCY to build now. The rainy season is almost upon us. It will be here the middle of May! This gives us about two months to get the roof on and the walls enclosed. If we start building right now with eight men, it is estimated it will take us two months. If we do not have the roof on by the middle of May, we may not be able to build for months (as it rains almost constantly). So the timing is perfect! Now is the time to build!
The estimated cost of materials to construct one wall towards the end, build up two walls and provide all the sand, gravel, cement, etc for the 7,000 plus square foot facility is $11,616. The cost of all the steel beams, metal trusses and roofing materials is $18,349. The labor cost is $9,300. The total needed to get the 7,000 plus square foot facility “in the dry” (closed in) is $39,000. I believe that the inside can be finished for another $30,000. This is less than $10 a square foot. Whoever heard of putting up such a quality building for such a low cost? In the U.S., it would probably be a minimum of five or six times that amount.
Until a few days ago... there was one catch. We didn’t have the first dollar! But all that changed... when God touched someone’s heart to provide New Hope with the first $20,000! Wow! That’s more than half of what is needed to get the building ready for the “rainy season,” so we can work inside when the rain starts pouring down!
Yes, God is moving! And God is going to be glorified! As we believe God is going to use this building to transform lives for eternity! Now I need you to please agree with us in prayer for the miracle that is in the works. Let’s believe together, that as the Lord moves on hearts, they will be obedient. Much more is at stake concerning this project which I hope some day we will be able to share with you. But for now... we need to PRAY!
We do give thanks that ALL of New Hope’s financial needs concerning this building ARE BEING MET... according to HIS RICHES IN GLORY!!!
