How
we praise the Lord...
for
His faithfulness and what He has already provided.
THE LORD
PROVIDED: one of the most unusual houses in Waspam.
The owner was
asking $500 a month for rent, but then he blessed us by lowering it to
$450 (but he required six months in advance).
THE LORD PROVIDED: someone
to give $2,000 towards the rent of the house.
AND THEN...
THE LORD
PROVIDED: an additional $180 from a church in
Tennessee.
THE LORD THEN
PROVIDED: an additional $3,000 from another church in
Tennessee.
Then the family
that gave the first $2,000 for the renting of a house, heard that we
were short $700 in paying the first six months rent in advance. They
felt to give an additional $700 to take of the rent in full for six
months, $450 x 6= $2,700.
God
is so FAITHFUL!!!
After all the
expenses of the trip were added up... OPERATION HOPE is
$2,100 in the black!!! (Besides paying the rent for six months on
House of Hope.)
So
where does this really put...
OPERATION HOPE now???
POISED ON THE
BRINK OF EVEN GREATER MIRACLE!!!
The Sandinista
government is ready to put more children in our care when we are
able to furnish the house in Waspam. The officials are expecting House
of Hope to open on the 16th of this month.
House of Hope is SO
CLOSE... to being able to minister to the needs of the precious Miskito
Indian children...

The Lord willing...
I leave for Nicaragua this coming Monday, the 12th. We are BELIEVING
God will PROVIDE for this need before I leave...
WE ARE PRAISING THE
LORD IN ADVANCE FOR HIS FAITHFULNESS!!!
Before I close... I
wanted to share with you a couple pictures of Joely.
As you remember,
she went back to Waspam, her native area, to help Leo and Charity on
this mission outreach by interpreting for them in the Miskito language.
This is what Joely
looked like in her early days at House of Hope.
In Nicaragua,the
biggest day (besides getting married) takes place in a girl's life when
she turns 15.
This is a picture
of Joely on her 15th birthday June 13, 2010...
If it hadn't been
for the Lord (and some of you)... Joely would probably be starving
somewhere in the rainforest (or much worse)... with absolutely no hope
for her future.
Only the Lord knows
how many other "Joelys" He is going to be sending to us to care for...
at House of Hope.
Girls
just like Joely... who now have no hope for their future... we
believe... will soon learn firsthand... how much our Lord cares for
them.
For the children,
Brother Ford
